What To Expect

Once you have clicked get in touch our wonderful receptionist Emma will contact you. You can ask her any questions you may have, she is a wealth of knowledge. From there if you want to come in for a visit you will be booked for a consultation appointment.

Consultation
Your consultation is an opportunity for you to meet James our Specialist Orthodontist and the friendly team to discuss your needs. This is a thorough, in-depth appointment to make sure we gather all of the required information and eliminate unnecessary visits. This first appointment can include comprehensive orthodontic record taking which is usually comprised of photographs, x-rays and a 3D scan of your teeth. If you are not ready for treatment yet then basic photographs and a screening x-ray may be required and a monitoring programme developed.

Treatment Planning
If orthodontic treatment is required, a comprehensive customised treatment plan is developed by our Specialist Orthodontist, in consultation with you, to best meet your needs and expectations. Your customised treatment plan will be collated into a systematic, easy to follow document for you to work through and go over in detail with James prior to commencing any treatment. This provides you with an opportunity to discuss and clarify any questions you may have. We believe in you working together with your orthodontist to achieve your best results. The full treatment plan will involve a list of main observations/problems following full analysis of your orthodontic records, a concisely summarised list of steps involved from start to finish, an estimated treatment time indication, treatment cost breakdown, and financing options. This also includes any additional points to note and useful information pertaining to your treatment.

Treatment
Active orthodontic treatment begins and the road to achieving your best smile is underway. Our Specialist Orthodontist James will manage every aspect of your treatment. You will see him regularly throughout the course of your treatment and continue to have an open dialogue about how treatment is progressing. You will likely require visits every four to ten weeks depending on the type of treatment you have chosen.
